Here is some work from concept art class. These are concepts for two scenes within the film.

Project Onyx

Here are two of the peices I have done for the environment concepting on Project Onyx this week. I try to keep things fresh and interesting for myself by working in very different styles.

Here is the less epic and slightly more believable version of my banner painting. This version is painted using one default photoshop brush with tweaked settings here and there.

dining room concept

This is a look and feel painting of the dining room in our game. I'm trying to slow down in my painting process and clean up all of my edges as I make a mess adding in photo textures. Also Peter has advised me to paint all of my lights and forms before getting too involved with the layer adjustments and crazy "detail" type things. I was happy with how much cleaner this painting looks compared to others Ive done recently.

this is just a drawing I did tonight for fun and practice. I usually like the black and white image more, it feels more western that way.

here is where I am at with my PRJ character thus far. I have finished texturing the face, but the rest of him has a way to go still.

Project Onyx characters

these are some color compositions of characters I am working on. The female is basically a kung fu jedi student, and the reptilian man is her proctor. With color often times I will use well balanced photographs from nature for color selection. I left them in the image just to show process.
